Alex Dvorak is a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It is her mission to inspire young girls to follow their dreams, no matter what hardships they face.

She was raised in Washington, D.C. to a Czech father and Puerto Rican mother.

​

Her scars have accompanied her on the runways of New York Fashion Week. Her published personal essays on her cancer survivorship, the modeling industry, and her Latinidad in The Washington Post, HuffPost, and more, have inspired a slew of new development opportunities.

She is the author of an upcoming (2025) YA graphic novel soon to be announced.

Alex wrote, executive produced, co-directed, and starred in the original short film BAD SURVIVOR, which premiered at the 2024 Big Apple Film Festival and is an Official Selection of the Academy Award Qualifying Slamdance Film Festival 2025 in LA. She is currently taking meetings with agents, managers, and production companies.
