As the daughter of immigrants from clashing cultures, a teenage cancer survivor, and a former runway model, Alex writes TV series based on real-life experiences with authenticity, dark humor, and heart. She’s drawn to coming-of-age stories of young protagonists, othered by society, who turn their individuality into their superpower —teen rebellion at its finest. She is currently developing a graphic novel with a major publisher about her time as a teen cancer patient.
