THIS IS HER STORY
Alex Dvorak is a survivor of Hodgkin's Lymphoma. It is her mission to inspire young girls to follow their dreams, no matter what hardships they face.
She was raised in Washington, D.C. to a Czech father and Puerto Rican mother.
Her scars have accompanied her on the runways of New York Fashion Week. Her published personal essays on her cancer survivorship, the modeling industry, and her Latinidad in The Washington Post, HuffPost, and more, have inspired a slew of new development opportunities. She was recently profiled in People Magazine, detailing her rise from runway model hiding her survivorship, to becoming a voice for survivors.
She is the author of an upcoming YA graphic novel soon to be announced.
Alex wrote, produced, directed, and starred in the original short film BAD SURVIVOR, which celebrated its LA premiere at Slamdance Film Festival in 2025. She is also a programmer for Slamdance 2026. She is currently taking meetings with agents, managers, and production companies.
