Echoes was a semester long project worked on by a team of 5 individuals from multiple disciplines for a 3-D modeling and animation class at the University of Wisconsin Stout. Our vision for this project was to create a short horror suspense film set in the post apocalypse.
My roles on this project were pre-visualization and compositing our 3-D monster into the film and included tasks such as Lighting and rendering in Maya, video editing, color correction, masking, and match moving.
Echoes was a brilliant learning experience for me because I had always wanted to learn the movie magic of compositing since I was young. This project gave me a chance to learn the pipeline of compositing a 3-D object into film.
Programs used: Autodesk Maya, Adobe Matchmover, Adobe After effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro
