Building 37 is a noir investigation game made by a team of 12 game designers, including myself at the University of Wisconsin Stout as part of our capstone class. In Building 37 you play as private detective Ellis, a retired police officer and Vietnam veteran. One day in 1983 a mysterious woman in red approaches you with the story of her missing husband. The following investigation leads you down a rabbit hole that uncovers answers from an infamous mass disappearance almost 20 years prior. Building 37 is available on GameJolt and Itch.io for free on Mac and PC.
My main roles on this team were as an Environment artist as well as PR Manager. My tasks included some concept art, hard surface modeling, texturing, working in Unity to arrange assets in a way that drives the games narrative and operating our blog and social media pages.
